Reading the bible from start to finish, (New Catholic Bible, St. Joseph Edition), and will be regularly researching or reflecting as I go along.
My plan is to post those portions that I research for clarification, as well as share any information I may have gathered.
Reflections will only be added if I feel the content and surrounding context doesn't fully encapsulate what I've taken away from the reading.
Stated plainly: Anything I notice as standing out or anything that I don't understand, I'm going to look up, get an answer, and document it here.
Comments are open for all.
Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.
St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Angel of God, my guardian dear,
To whom God's love commits me here,
Ever this day, be at my side,
To light, to guard, to rule, and guide.
Amen
